    Engine not been in water for 2 years?

    Just wandering if you guys run certain rpms for so long before opening it up?What type of run in should i give the engine rpm wise. 1979 150 evinrude has been run on muffs.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Trying to test to see if battery is charging. Motor not running battery has 12.7 volts when running the meter is jumping all over the place. What do i need to have meter set on to get stable reading? This is 1979 150 evinrude

    Would not charge before i changed rectifier. Once changed it shows to be in the green just at 12 volts. Is this normal or should it be charging better.     I have 1979 150 hp evinrude with prestolite starter. My question is can i replace with bosch style starter? They look the same on externals. Thanks
