    JOHNSON 9.9 1988 TILLER ARM BROKEN

    Hi, <br />I have somehow broken the tiller arm on my 1988 Johnson 9.9 Seahorse. The metal looks like it was fatigued and snapped.     Lower unit wont drop

    I have a Johnson 1988, 88 HP, it was serviced 2 years ago. I am on an island and wont be able to get a manual for a while... and I am not a mechanic.<br />I have removed all the fasteners.. the unit drops about two inches... it may be the shift rod... how do I disconnect this?<br />Also the...
