    drive drops after releasing switch

    howdy guys i have got me a 76 mercruiser outfit and when i release the trim switch the lower unit drops. it sloly drops out of the water with no load on it and would imagine it would go alot faster if there was any load on it. just wondering firstly if this might be enough info for some answers...

    no power

    i have a '76 55hp chrysler and she'll fire up no trouble, idle in and out of warm up but when i put in gear it'll stall out. i have to very quickly go from warm up to forward and then sometimes she'll go like hell.....for about 20 yards. then it seems like she floods right out, no power doesn't...
