When primer hose broke I thought the solenoid was loose but the bolt was tightened all the way and it still moves back and forth clockwise. Is this normal ??

Thank you, good info. This motor runs great at full speed. But when I lower my trolling plate it loads up real bad. I heard you could go to 60 to 1 with no harm to the motor. But i don't know if that's true
My 1994 Force 50 runs very rich. Is it doable to adjust the carb on my own? It is mixed 50 to 1 now and after shutdown a lot of fuel leaks down exhaust
This just happened to my 50 horsepower Force. Starter would just spin and not engage. I removed the cowl and lightly tapped on the bendix, tried again and it started up. I have never cleaned one these before but I think I'm gonna try.
Hello everyone, kinda new here. i m changing the impeller on my force 50 hp and the driveshaft has a rubber boot and collar just under the upper splines and seems to be on very tight. cant get the impeller off without removing this, dont want to destroy it. any help appreciated. Thank you
I changed the stator in my 1993 50 hp force. 2 blue wires tested no ohms at all and red wires tested 95 ohms and yellows were 1.4 ohms. I found a used stator and it tested reds at 97 ohms and blues were 1140 ohms. seems really high. I don't know if this even work. byw, yellows are 1.4 ohms. Is...
a local outboard mechanic tested the stator on my 1993 50 hp force-0e062441- and said 1 side was bad. so I found one on line at franz marine and installed it. still no spark. I really don't know how to proceed from here to test other components without just buying and replacing cdi, rectifier...
