    2002 Merc 50hp 4 stroke Big Foot cutting out

    Last year it was the charging system. This year it is the fuel system. Motor cuts out at higher than 2500 rpm. The higher the rpm the quicker it cuts out. Had the motor checked out and was told that fuel pressure was low at higher rpms due most likely to the fuel pump not working properly...

    universal regulator rectifier

    I purchased the universal voltage regulator rectifier 01-090-1 referred to in several forums for my 1989 85HP Force. For wires the new regulator rectifier has two yellows a black and a black with white stripe, but no red. Which wire do I connect to red? The supplier and all other info sources...
