    oh boy ,had the boat out on Friday and when i throttled up no go ,engine revved but no forward movement,throttled down and started to move again,whats going on! pulled motor out of the water and no weeds around the prop,so i tried throttling up again and no go throttled down and got it to work...

    i have recently replaced the impeller on my motor and now when i put it in netural and high idle it the boat moves forward like its in gear but my shifter is in netural,i have also tryied putting it in reverse but nothing happens ,do you think that i have not put the shift rod back into correct...

    i have a vanguard banshee with a 65 horse motor ,now i have noticed that the old owner has move the motor up 1 hole on the motor mounts on the transom ,guys at work tell me that this will maybe slow my boat down in the water is this true,the old owner said that it did ,should i put it back down?
