    Pee Hole on a Merc '83 4hp 2 cyl

    Can't seem to locate the pee hole on my 1983 Merc 4hp 2 cyl. The motor isn't pumping water, even though the impeller is fine, and everything is connected up as it should be. Where should I be looking for the water exiting?

    Impeller turns but doesn't pump water?

    My little 1983 Mercury 4hp gnat motor doesn't seem to want to pump water. The impeller turns as it should when the driveshaft rotates, but just will not pump water. I've even tried driving the driveshaft with a drill so that I can see if it pumps, but it doesn't Any ideas?
