ok heres the deal
i have an about 74 fairline 302 175hp with an omc stringer drive
i broke the upper gearcase(hit something and one mount ear snapped right off and stripped the ball gears)
ok so
i bought a used stringer off a guy
he said it was from a 305 chevy
i figured 305 -302 no big deal...
ok heres the deal
i have 16.5 v ac coming out of the two yellow stator wires
nothing dc coming out the red wire
is that all there is to this chargeing system the stator and the rectifier?
the red wire goes to the battery?
also i have continuity between the yellow wires
but i have continuity...
