When I pump up the primer bulb it gets hard like it's suppose to but the inline fuel filter is only about 1/3rd full. When I run it on muffs or in a test tank it doesn't even look like it has fuel in it but the motor is idleing. Is this normal?

I have the six terminal as shown in the diagram, it's new. I see the 12v going to the middle terminal and the white line jumping to the other middle terminal. I'm I jumping 12v between the two middle terminals or is the white line nothing?

I have a '92 70 horse. I'm reading where it says to rig a spark plug tester and have the gap set at 7/16". I have one, but do I need three? It says to "have the s/plugs out". If I only need the one then what would I do with the other two spark plug boots?

I've read posts here before on how to do it. I ground the temp switch wire with the key on and the gauge does what? Mine pegs on the other end of the gauge when I ground it. The sending unit is brand new.
