my neighbor has an old landau pontoon boat he was thinking of scraping. i went to look at it today. looks like a 18/20 footer but since i forgot my tape im guessing. it has 1 large bench across the back, a helm chair and at 1 time looks like it had a passenger seat close to the pilots chair...
I've got good compression in 95-110 on all cylinders, the 1 in question will spark fire across 1/2 gap. Squirting fuel into the carb of that cylinder makes no difference in engine sound. Spark plugs have been changed. I have swapped coils, no change. How do I test The power pack? Any help is great!

Found this jewel. Yes a screw is In the bottom of the boat or should I say through the bottom of it.
so I was sampling the stringers, only about 3inches on 1 end is rotten and about 1 inch on the other end of the same...

i see no water intake ports on the lower section.......is this a water cooled engine?
there is a clear hose on the back of the engine just above where the sparkplugs mount, was wondering what it is for.
