    Carb Rebuild - cork float varnish soft?

    I am rebuilding an RDE-19 carb and when I took the carb bowl off, the (new) cork float's varnish coat was soft and bubbling. Is there something that I can coat it with that will hold up to newer gas? Is there a different float that will work? If so what would a part number be? Thanks

    I am rebuilding a 4 gal pressure tank and there is minor rust on the inside of the tank from sitting for a long time without fuel in it. Is there an easy way to scrub the rust out? I cant fit my fat hand down into the tank. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
