'71 Thunderbolt 500 not firing on #1 cylinder.

I'm tracking down what I believe is a fault in my ignition system. The engine stopped producing full power on my last outing and fuel consumption was high for the power it was producing. I initially thought it was a carb issue and have cleaned the the carbs. Further investigation has revealed...

    '71 500 fuel hose replacement

I'm in process of replacing all of the original fuel hoses '71 Thunderbolt 500. I converted the connections over to brass barbs and SS clamps. I'm curious if I should replace the cylinder bleed hose and the main bearing balance tube(hose). These appear to be in good condition. I'm curious...

    '72 500 Thunderbolt stator output.

During a run the other day, I noticed my system voltage was running about 16V at at 5000 RPM. At 3000 RPM, it was indication 14V. I was uncomfortable with the 16V, so I calledit a day and motored in at reduced power. Reading the forum, it sounds like this is normal and caution should be used...

'72 50 HP 500, general tuning and timing.

I have just gotten a long term project on the water. An 18.5' mahogany runabout that I have redesigned and built from the ground(water?) up. It's not done, but I was able to get it on the water for some "sea" trials. Also a hole shot at this link, post #74...

Signal level of ignition driver blue lead.

Hi all, I am trying to get a Beede tach to function with my '73 Thunderbolt 500. I am not getting it to register through the tach lead. I believe that the Beede tach needs at least an 8v signal to register. I would think that the signal strength at the switch box where the tan and blue wires...
