    89 merc 20hp, lower end question

    My lower end has a hole in it, just below the hydrofoil. When I hook my water ears up to the intake to start the motro, ther hole pisses out water. Is this hole suppose to be there, it looks factory drilled.....adn is this hole suppose to be sealed or not when Im running in the driveway, and...
