I have an 82ish 50 hp 4 cylinder that has no spark, ohmed out the stator and trigger wires and found a pair on the stator was well below spec so I ordered a new stator and a trigger since it's apart. Would a bad stator wreck anything else or would a bad switch box or coil wreck a stator?
