I need to overhaul the pump as it makes a lot of noise and leaks. I am not sure how to strip the unit. My Seloc manual is no help whatsoever. Can anybody please advise how it pulls down ? Also, what parts are in it which will need to be replaced ? I do have it removed from the engine.

I am trying to prove a fault to a stator on a 50hp 1980 Merc. As my DVM will not do peak readings, I think I can test the stator by checking resistance across the low speed and high speed windings. Can anyone advise the acceptable resistance readings on both of these please.
