    need carburetor help from someone smarter than I

    I have a 1996 2hp johnson that sat for a few years without use; thoroughly cleaned carb numerous times, installed new rebuild kit, still will not run without constant choke, and even then I have to constantly balance choke with the throttle. I borrowed a friends carb and it runs fine with it...

    '72 Evinrude fisherman question

    what is the difference in a 6hp "fisherman slow speed" and a "regular" 6hp; is it the prop or more involved gearing or perhaps simply marketing?
