HELP !!! Bought a 06 Glastron sx175 with a busted engine and only 45 hrs on boat. Purchased a new rebuilt 4.3 carb engine. Rebuilt all components concerned including carb. Which looked brand new on the inside. Installed new Holley marine carb kit. Tried to fire engine and fuel was pouring out...

Quick question , have an 85 OMC 2.5 and would like to swap in a complete (engine & outdrive) mercruiser setup . Preferably 3.0 or 4.3 of around the same year model. Seems the Mercrusier units are more durable and easier to find replacement parts.
