I have a 1989 88SPL that is ROCK SOLID!!! I have it on a 19' Bluefin Sportsman V-bottom I got from my dad. Running an aluminum 13-3/4 x 15 prop, RPM @ WOT runs around 4,800 but I don't push it hard. Speed at that rpm is right at 35-38 mph and that's planty for what I need. No longer a bass...
