    130ETLF Greasing Upper Midsection

    I recently pulled this motor out of retirement due to a bad lower unit. I pumped some grease to the midsection through the grease zerk about halway up the midsection. All the grease I pumped in came out of the bottom. What should I do to get some grease to go up instead of down? [/URL]

    4 wire trim guage 3 wire sending unit?

    I am working with a 1989 130 HP Yamaha. The guage comes from a 1984 90 yamaha. The guage hae a 4 wire harness coming from it, but the sending unit at the motor only has 3 wires. I am left with an extra gray wire. Is there a way to make these ccompatable? Thanks, David

    is the is compression range acceptable

    I have the option to purchase a 1996 115 Johnson. The guy that has it says the compression is between 105 and 120 across all 4 cylinders. Should I be concerned that at least one cylinder is at 105?

    O-Ring Driveshaft 1991 70HP evinrude

    I cannot figure out where to put part number 58 in the diagram below. The water pump repair kit came with two orings. The guy at the parts counter said to go with the one that fits the drive shaft better. But where does it go?

    Galded threads on lower unit

    I have some galded threads in the lower drainplug on my 1991 70hp Johnson. The plug was tight. Once it broke loose it backed out like normal. When I went to put it back in it would tighten as soon as it started. I can see that the threads are all galded up. How would ya'll go about fixing them?
