    I have a 1988 8 hp Johnson. I can't get it to tilt up. It seems to be locked down. I turned the little plate with the picture of the boat on it but that does not help. Please help

    1981 2.3 Hp Evinrude Recoil problem

    The big coil spring is still in place. The recoil was working but was loose and did not recoil all the way. I removed the horseshoe clamp on top and tried to fix. I cannot get it back together. All the parts are ok including a little funny looking spring that I do not know where it goes...

    Oil injection

    I have a 1998 75 HP Mariner. I have just had a new power installed. The mechanic suggests removing the oil injection and for me to mix gas and oil. He said it is better and safer. What do you think? Thank you

    It runs but seems to be on one cylinder only. The bottom one. Runs fast but not slow. Could it be coil and if so how do I test coil? Perhaps powerpack? Thank

    No water coming out of pee hole on 1979 6 hp Evinrude

    It runs well but I cannot get a pee stream comimg out of top stream hole. I am not sure of the year but I thinks it approximately 1979. I have an older 6 hp and it does not have top pee tube. Nothing blocked. I replaced impeller and it is the same. I remover thermostat and it is the same...
