    stuck tracker controls

    i have a 1991 nitro 115 evenrude,controls pull out for neutral push back in to go in gear,control is stuck,almost have to beat it to get back into gear,how can you take tis apart to lube it ?once its in gear it works fine.just the in and out thats stuck..

    eratic idling

    I have a 1991 nitro with a 115 evenrude,runs good,cranks good and idles good,the problem is as you trim the motor the idle from trim down goes from 750 rpms to about 1600 rpms with boat sitting still in neutral..Causes a problem loading on the trailer because you have to keep motor trimed up...

    Will your trolling motor batterys last longer if you start on 12 volt and later switch to 24 volt,or just start on 24 volt and run 24 volt all day on low speed?

    1991 115 hp evenrude-was idleing very low,I found on iboats how to idle up,(screw on linkage from spark advance arm to timer base..) I put boat on muffs and adjusted idle to 1200 rpms,will do final adjustment on idle when I take to lake today..My question is does this effect timing?I dont want...

    set screw loose

    I just found the set screw loose on the little arm that comes out from under the fly wheel to the carb linkage.I can see that it has moved.is this timming?how do I set it? I guess that explanes why its been idleing so slow. ok,I just found on here that this screw is the idle adjustment...

    whitch hole

    the trim rod is in third hole from bottom,it has a very slow hole shot,the rod seems to have washers on both ends,how do you remove them,and is it ok to move rod down to last hole,it might be sitting on trim cylinders..1991 115 evenrude

    nitro tach

    I just got a 1991 nitro 115 evenrude in great condition,only thing that dont work is the tach.when you turn on switch needle on tach backs up a little but thats all it does.it dont move when motor running...i am a mechanic so i should be able to fix this if someone will give me some pointers on...

    new nitro prop

    I just got a 1991 17 ft nitro.rated for 120 hp.It has a 115 evenrude with a 13 x 19 aluminum prop.prop is beat up so im gona put a stainless prop on it.Any suggestions on a new prop??? pitch? 3 or 4 blade? Does anyone know the max rpm for this motor?the cover says high performance on it..thanks!!

    lost nut

    I took the screw out that holds the throttle cable on motor end,and the nut and spring fell out,I havnt found the nut but where does the spring go??under the nut?? 1984 35 hp mercury..I put the screw and nut on without the spring,seems to work fine..

    Polar kraft plug??

    i JUST GOT A 1980 POLAR KRAFT JON BOAT WITH A GRAVITY FEED LIVEWELL.IT HAS 2 DRAIN HOLES BUT ONLY 1 PLUG..THE PLUG IS SCREW IN AND IS 5/8 INCH ACROSS THE BOTTOM.WHERE CAN I GET ONE,i CANT FIND ONE ANYWHERE..

    tach plug??

    1984 35 hp merc,,manual says tach plugs in to front of remote controll,and controll has a place to plug it in.. Where do i get a tach to plug into this connection?? and is that all i do is plug it in??
