    Power trim ?

    Anybody know where I can get a rebuild kit for my power trim? 1973 Chrysler 130 HP. The motor needs a new brush, and the trim needs new seals... Thanks

    1973 130 HP... More power?

    Like the title says, I've got a 1973 Chrysler 130 HP. Runs sweeeeeeeeet, but I'm wanting more power. I saw that they made a 140 HP those years. What would it take to upgrade to that power? New carbs? Also, is there anything else I can do to add power?

    Question about H/P ratings...

    So, I'm looking for a new(er) outboard motor for my boat. The 1973 Chrysler 135 isn't cutting it anymore, mainly cause it's a 115HP (+/-) by today's standards. I know that ALL of the manufacturers swtiched to the new HP ratings by 1983. Any idea when Merc did the switchover? Thanks..

    Help me get the most out of my Chysler!

    Hey guys, a few months ago I bought a 1973 Tahiti with a 1973 Chrysler 130 HP O/B. The motor itself runs GREAT, but I'm looking to get more out of it. Any suggestions? I always run 93 octane fuel and recently replaced the spark plugs.

    Forward gear only after impellor change!

    Hey guys, newbie here. I just changed out the impellor on my 1966 Merc Model 110 9.8 HP, and now all I get is forward gear, no matter what position the shifter is in. When I removed the lower unit, the shifter was in Neutral. How do I fix this? Thanks.
