    Both run great but I heard the year difference with ratings and mercs being underated it might not be worth the time and extra fuel

    15.7 ft trihull with 85 evinrude prop help

    I have a 1984 thundercraft 160 magnum 15.7 ft trihull with a 75 evinrude 85 on it.the boat weighs 700lbs dry I carry 15 gallons of gas and about 500-700lbs in gear max. Looking for ideas on a prop for max speed.it has no power trim or tilt.I will be pulling tubers with 2 200 lb people on board...

    I just bought this boat and the prop is whipped wanted some input to see what might work well for fishing and pulling a tube it has 60 HP 2 stroke merc on it.the numbers on it don't cross or show size/pitch.thanks for thelp

    first boat prop help

    I have an 84thundercraft 160 16ft trihull with a 1984 60hp mariner 2stroke and I need a prop.there is no pitch numbers on current prop.its gonna be for fishing and pulling a tube.I believe wot is 5000-5500 rpms.thanks
