:mad: My mercury has no reverse, it goes from forward to reverse with no positive neutral. I have to tension the selector between the two to get it in neutral. Any sugestions.
I have a late 60s Mercury 100Hp... I think the head gasket is blown. There is fuel leaking at some places when the motor is run. I can also see small bubbles at some places. The engine also has trouble idling! Could this be the source? Final question... Is it necesary to remove the powerhead...
