    I was working on my 1986 9.9 johnson motor trying to get it to turn over pulling the cord about 30 times when all of a sudden it will not move it seems to be hitting something sounds like metal to metal. is this motor shot?<br />any help would be greatly appreciated<br /><br /> <br />n

    I have a 86 johnson 9.9 that must have been left outside for two three years. I could not get the pull cord to move the fly wheel at first It seemed that the fly wheel was frozen I was able to finaly get it to move after about an hour of working the fly wheel back and forth I pulled the spark...
