    How do you increase the tension on the twist tiller, I have to hold the tiller tension, if I release it for a second, it drops down.

    I recently acquired a 5hp 1940 Johnson DT-10. Nice original condition. Has 80lbs compression in each cylinder, is this considered acceptable. Would like to get it running. Does anyone have a parts breakdown they could share. thanks

    1997 Mercury 40 hp loss of power problem

    While running my pontoon yesterday I encountered a loss of power problem. I was running at full throttle and suddenly had a loss of power, it slowly picked up speed and ran normal for a couple of minutes and then started to lose power again. RPM's drop from 5200 to 3000 and then pick up again...

    Scott Atwater 1-16 5hp question

    How common is the Scott Atwater 5hp model 1-16? I found one that is complete and better than average cond, decals and labels in tact. Has spark, compression and shifts, tank is clean. The casting at the top of the head is cracked that attaches the tank. Does $60 sound like a buy?

    1956 Johnson 15hp carb. adjustment question

    In the Cylmer "Old Outboard Motor" manual they state that for the 1956-68 Johnson/Evinrude 12-20hp, "normal initial setting for both the high speed mixture adjusting needle and the low speed adjusting needle is 3/4 turn from closed position." Does this sound correct?
