    I just bought a full kit of OMC seals for my 92 Evinrude 40hp lower unit because I am getting some water in the gear case. Does anyone have a wild guess about how many man hours a shop would need to install the full kit?

    milky gear case oil

    My manual for my 92 Evinrude 40 hp only tells me to go the dealer if my gear case oil is not clear, that is, milky, and it is. What's the usual cause of that leakage of water into the gear case and is it an expensive repair?

    Sorry, but the boat is in another state right now, but it's a 40hp 1992 Evinrude on a Tracker...does anyone know where the voltage regulator is on that motor? I haven't a clue what one looks like?
