1984 Merc 25 hp no spark

Been a while since I used this motor and want to start using it again. I stopped using it because both cylinders have no spark. Very unlikely both coils went out so I'm thinking it may be the CDI box. Any suggestions or procedure to test the CDI?

Disconnect kill switch wire from CDI box and check for spark.
If no spark then check output voltage from the stator.
It should be 180VDC DVA (with a VOM that read DVA or with a DVA adapter connected to a VOM) or more.
If the reading is 180VDC or more from stator the CDI box is bad.
