I have my engine on a test stand, a rebuilt 350/5.7 with a freshly rebuilt Quadrajet marine 4BBL carb with an electric choke. After a test run, I pulled the lead from the electric choke and the whole plate came with it (see pics). Do I just put it back on and make sure it's tight, or should I just replace the choke?

If you easily pulled the plate and BOTH rivets off the carburetor ? Take it to a different person who might have the correct size rivets.
How cheap can that be made ?

I'm just going to get another electric choke. Does it matter if it's marine or if it's 2 or 4 barrel? (the carb is marine) I see a few for Quadrajet 2bbl, but it looks the same as mine

I was leaning over the engine from the other side, and I think I tried to pull the clip off at an odd angle, it was tight.

Thanks for the info.
