Help identifying a my motor (E40ELCCS ??)

I have an old 40hp Evinrude, tag says its an E40ELCCS.
However the freeze plug has an RPH stamp, indicating its a Replacement Power Head.
The reason I'm trying to figure this out is I'm working on linking-syncing, and replace the carburator roller based off parts images I see on Crowley, and my linkage system is very different.
I'm hoping someone might recognize the linkage system, and let me know what it is.

In particular, it's the Throttle Lever that is different on mine.
Every spec I can find online for this year/model, shows one similar to this:
