Where does the hose go?

Engine is a 120 HP Evinrude v4
You can see the hose at the bottom left in the first picture and then I included the next one where its attached to.

My question is does this hose attach to anything??

Depending on the year, that hose could attach to the airbox.

You might tell us the year and whether the motor is 60* or 90* V4.

it attaches to the airbox as stated. It goes to the carb and the vacuum sucks any residual fuel back to the motor and burns it up. Otherwise it would drip fuel into the cowl and make a mess or by chance cause a fire.
