i have a fuel leak coming from somewhere in my fuel tank when my bow is raised. i filled up my new to me 1991 Sunbird 18.5 Bowrider There is a vent along the floor from the tank area that seeps fuel when my bow is raised. I replaced the gasket on me fuel gauge so its not leaking there Trying to find a way to trace it Any suggestions besides cutting open the floor to remove the tank. Cheers

Welcome
With it only happening when the bow is raised, look at the tank fittings and hoses

You will have the main tank fill hose, tank vent line and fuel line

Do you have an aluminum or plastic tank? My old boat had an aluminum tank and where the fuel pickup bolted on, the tank completely corroded and no longer sealed. One of the fittings on top of your tank is either corroded and leaking or maybe a hose came loose.

the hoses could have deteriorated, the new hoses are more tolerant of E10 than the hosed that were in your boat 35 years ago, however the hoses only last about 20 years

do not use the boat until you find the fuel leak
