I spent the last 24 years driving at 29.25 miles per hour. My 2002 GMC 2500 Diesel I bought new almost 24 years ago just turned over 200,000 miles. My engine hours were 6832.7 for an average of 29.271005... MPH.

My wife won't let me. She bought a new Nissan Sentra the year before and she says since her car is older it should be the first one replaced. It has less than 25,000 miles on it.

I will probably have the highest mph over hours run. I drive 83 miles to work there are 2 stop signs between my home and my freeway exit near work. Set the cruise at 64 on the highway to the freeway and 79 on the freeway. Last truck had 197,000 on it before I wrecked it.

In January 2019, I sold both of my late father's vehicles. The 1996 Dodge Turbo Diesel had 374,000 miles. His other vehicle a 2009 VW Jetta sportwagen TDI has 364,000 miles.

It would be nice to keep a truck that long. My '22 has 74,000 on it already.

My 14 tdi only has 129k. Love that thing and it's a stick. On an average day running around town I get 34 mpg and before I loaded with tools and such I was up to 50+ on highway. And it can pull my boat....

Yeah, I re-set the digital display before a trip and go. After the trip I check it and my average speed is 25-35 mph. To many small towns mess with it. Going 60 as much as possible.but I get a minimum of 30 mpg on those trips. On my 99 jeep v-8 I can squeeze 25-28 mpg on a road trip. In town I only get 11 mpg with the thing.
