Actually, what I should do is insulate the garage and put in a real AC system. That would make a huge difference. Hard to justify the expense though. 🤑
Well, that's sensible so why do that when you can complain all the time??

I really like that satin blue and white BWR!! Boat is looking really nice. Ive been keeping my eye out for one of these wider, longer mirrorcrafts now but they are as rare as hen's teeth!

No, the Cost of AC is Cheap for the Comfort it provides. I would keep my house at 18C(64F) year round, plus have addition Dehumidifiers running(I like it really really Dry.)

Soo... a few years ago I'd been thinking that spray foam insulation was going to be at least $4k, maybe $4,500.

I just got off the phone with one provider and the estimate was $5,200. Dang.

I already have AC in the building, but it's old with the wrong type of refrigerant. It would have to be changed out. That might be more cost effective than trying to go with new. Maybe I could find a used one? Hmmm...

Ship to Shore radio in this case....typically it would mean Stainless Steel...
Ah yes. Ship to Shore. I knew that. 🤪

I don't listen to radios when I'm on the water. Just the sound of water slapping the hull and nature around me. So, no stereo will be added.

And since I fish freshwater, a cell phone to call 911 for emergencies is what I have. I did look around my shop for some scrap aluminum. I have a fair amount, all the wrong size of course, to block off that gaping hole. Time to find a Plan B. 😝

Wife went out with me today which she has not done last few years. We got to my quiet spot at 12 inches of water at the head of the creek and asked for music. I told her no, I am not doing that in this boat she needs to listen. She did, now she understands.
