As our tree line has been growing the last 18 years across the farm strip behind our house the deer have been running the line last couple three years from the river. Saw our first couple bucks this morning

We got a pair of what I would guess are two year old, what little I know . Look like 4 point but they stay on the far side of the field.

Nice to see some different animals around I’m sure. This reminded me of a vid I saw awhile back of a dog that learned not to mess with them. Poor thing had spikes all over its face.
That’s got a hurt.

We've had a couple dogs tangle with porkys. I bring them to the ER. I don't want to get bit pulling out the quills...
There's a bear hanging around. Leaving scat in my yard. Caught his butt, literally, on the cam....

Another goofy racked buck. Has a split tine, and little stubs on the other side. Looks to be heavy enough to take if the opportunity presents later in the season.
