I'm NOT looking to win a race here....but I'd like a recommendation for a prop that will help me get out of the hole nicely, and then accomplish a good top speed. The current prop is a 3 blade 12 pitch. The boat is a 16 foot aluminum runabout, so not a heavy boat...and 60 hp is the max recommended for the hull. So, I'd like to get the best performance that I can overall.

My motor serial is: 0G150847. Thanks!!

Need more info to help.
What's the diameter of current prop?
What rpm's are you getting at WOT and what's the recommended WOT?
What's your top speed now?

Thanks @Alumarine Diameter of my current prop is 10 1/2". No clue on RPM, as it's an old boat with no guages of any kind. Top speed is about 35 mph today.

Without a tach it's hard to determine what's best.
If it's getting out of the hole ok I'd stick with what you have.

Did you also post this question on the Marine Engine/Mercury Mariner forum. If so, I answered it there.
