Bunker lure

I made this lure a couple years ago but haven’t used it yet. I think it’s time to give it a try. I made it out of cedar and added lead to the bottom for weight and balance. It’s 10” long and 3 1/4 tall.

Big blues or strippers. There are a ton of brown sharks around at the moment so it not out of the question.

I broke out the old surf rod for this and realized this rod is 35 years old now and still in great shape. I love Penn reels they are a great quality reel.

Looks like something a 10 lb. largemouth would like. :cool:

Never know until you give it some time behind the boat.

Not a big fan of “lures” for striped ones. My favorite bait is a 8 oz, long haired parachute trimmed with a 9” sassy shad.

Had sharks take my catch, but have never had a shark take a lure/artificial
