I have re powered my 1990 trophy with this engine. My issue is that the main plug from boat to engine match how ever on my gauge the oil icon has an arrow above it...my oil is full and new so I'm not sure why...any ideas

Ahhhh...ya that makes sense as it was a 2 stroke i blew up

If a Yamaha multifunction gauge change it from the two stroke mode to the four stroke mode.

In two stroke mode it monitors quantity. In the four stroke mode it monitors pressure.

How do I switch it theres no buttons on that gauge

If no switches on the back you have an antiquated gauge. Time to pony up for new one.
