Now toying with using a speeduino ECM and running the coils as wasted spark, or running the MSD 60143.

Both have a map sensor to program vac advance

I always like a magneto on any engine. NO NO parts to adjust or replace. Why they were discontinued.

Magnetos have a fixed spark advance. Systems like the Kettering magneto systems are a bit complicated

She looks great. I had to come back for another.
It has brought back memories of my 65 Rivirea. It was one of my favorite car of all I have had.

It has been about 25 years since I installed hardwood flooring. I had forgotten how much work it is. Fortunately this stuff is pre-finished. In total it is about 725 Sq. Ft of flooring.

These are the family room and living room of the summer house. There used to be carpet in these rooms, and at 33 years old, it was ready for replacement. We figured on going with hardwood, instead of carpet.

prefinished is a god sent for using the house while doing it.

Have you seen the jamb saws and the edge flooring nailers (dont need to top nail the edge rows)?

The deeper I dig, the more rot I find. So much fun trying to match actual 1908 lumber dimensions to dimensional lumber. 20250917_161608.jpg

I have been redoing my decks and it’s taking for ever as I only have time in the evenings and the days are getting shorter pretty quick. I’m going with stainless cable railings at some point.

Is that Hickory? I like the grain pattern and it looks like its tough stuff and should hold up well.
