My apologies to @redneck joe for the 'upside downess' over the next few days while I glass the external surfaces.

Yesterday was corner and edge rounding day, along with the thickened fiber paste for smoothing out the transom and forming a large fillet at the back of the planing surface.

Today, I'll be starting on the external glassing . . . just got to figure out the layers and overlaps.

The Admiral were supposed to be headed off to VT for some skiing, but a change of plans and we will have to go another time.

For those following along, I had a couple of large gusset/supports along the outside of the structure. As you can see, I took them out, but not discarded.

The Naval Architect suggested that I could possibly eliminate them or shorten them up a bit so that they would be up out of the way of any water flow/spray while running on plane, etc.

I feel that the supports are still necessary, given the design of the structure, so those supports will be shortened and put back in place. However, I left them off for now so that I can run a continuous layer of fiberglass from front to back with some wrap-around. Then, I'll probably glass them in on a second or third layer.
