Huh , I just recall a brief conversation with my ex Dr ( dumped him cos he is an arsehole )
But he was being all pious and sorta lecturing me on polluting old 2 stroke outboards ( not that I had one then ) and how he traded in his 90hp yam for a 4 stroke because he felt the responsibility of doing his bit to save the planet ( single handedly by the sound of it to listen to him ).....😆untill I pointed out that he hadn't actually removed the stinky ole 2 stroke ....just gave it a new owner , and added one more motor to the environment ....at some not inconsiderable expense to himself . Ah hahaha , shoulda seen his stupid poe face ... Priceless 😂😂

Reminds me of a guy in town. Refuses to get a car because they pollute. But his friend will pick him up with an old school diesel, blowing black smoke, take him shopping and drop him back off, clueless people are out there…..

Waaaay back in covid mania times we here in NZ had travel restrictions and free vaccinations .,..for which one was provided with a vaccination certificate which you needed to produce to use public transport ,get into some places bla bla bla .
We also have ,around easter ,the deer roar (breeding season ) and a lot of crown owned land is divided up into balloted hunting blocks. You apply for a block and names are drawn out of a hat (sort of ).
Anyhows this dude who was an "anti vaxer " ( viewed as a non conformist selfish ill advised pillock and reviled by most )won a balloted block but because he did not get the free vax and thusly could not provide the necessary vax cert no commercial transport provider was allowed to take him to his block . This was a trip from the township of Te anau up lake Te anau to his block and back about a week later. The only way to do this is by boat or chopper. Any how this buttwhipe started whining about his plight on the nz hunting website and asking for private boat owners to provide him with the necessary transport to and from his block , refusing to see this as a consequence of his non compliance and standing up against what he was calling government sanctioned poisoning.
I actually dont know how it ended because I was kicked off the website for suggesting that he was ....well quite a few things and that if anyone deserved covid it was him .😆😆

Gee, I didn’t get the stab, heck, I don’t even get a flue shot ever. Call me what you want, but I haven’t been sick in many years. Still plugging away at 69 years old.

We all have our strong feeling/opinions/facts but this is about boats, cooking, fishing, and fun. When we meet in person we can tell each side how stupid they are and still share burgers and a steak. Have many friends like that. They are still stupid AND we are still friends. It can work.

Not trying to start anything just following to grub45891 post , in that there are those out there who like to claim to be clean but are not ,and still get the dirty thing .....as long as they can use others to do it .🙂
