Holy smokes.... That's crazy.Well, I tightened the puller as much as I could and it broke the flywheel off. Any suggestions from here?
Is this a crack in the crank?

You need that 1/8" of threads. Triangle file and patients can fix those threads. Try a 3-fingered claw puller on what's left of the flywheel.hum... why not grind away the top of the crankshaft to clean the threads down maybe 1/8 inch clean up the threads with the nut or use a proper die to recut them clean.
Clean up all that magneto !! check coils, plug wires condensers points etc...
dowload this book still good enough for your magneto service. find a used FW
So much for brute force. Who knows what other surprises you’ll uncover.Well, I tightened the puller as much as I could and it broke the flywheel off. Any suggestions from here?
It did sit outside for a number of years. I got the rest off and a used flywheel for $40 on eBay. I set the points so fingers crossed this fixes the spark problem.Besides being corroded on, your flywheel had to be rotten as well.
To much exposure to the atmosphere.
