Anyone have an updated opinion about SEI Marine bellows? (Bravo 3)

This is going to be about an 800 dollar difference. I'm mainly just needing the seal kit and the bellows... I can't believe how low cost this kit is vs the 450+ kits from OEM. The gimbal bearing I have in there cost me close to 200 if I'm remembering correctly and not really interested in changing it as it's 2 years old and I am a light user of the boat, although I take it out every weekend all year long when the weather is good..

Either way, only considering it because I have heard good things about SEI.. anyone have any experience with the actual product?

Pretty impressed with their customer service. I sent over a message this morning and in the first line said "I do not expect a response on a holiday weekend, just wanted to get in line" - and they actually just responded and answered the question.. that's the second smaller company that has answered outside of business hours. Refreshing to see some companies doing that.

The way I have seen oem bellows last on my two boats I wouldn’t mess with anything else than oem. The kit is only part of the cost. Y 2004 boat they were just starting to get stuff and crack after 18 years, still water tight on the driveshaft and shift bellows. Exhaust had previously split but that doesn’t matter. I figured I’m good for as long as il will own the boat after changing them. On the gimbal I would go for greaseable bearings I think s9me of the aftermarket are link belt or other decent bearing manufacturer. By greaseable gimbal was still good but the permalube u joints were smoked at 300 hrs
