    Doubling oiling is reccommended when you have an engine rebuilt on most motors. Whats the harm to double oil all the time?? I know it would foul the plugs out quicker but any other problems?? Why i ask this is because when i run 50-1 in a 60 hp johnson it doesnt seem like it smokes at all at...

    Rubber carb gasket

    1988 60 hp johnson motor. I am rebuilding the carbs and i see theres a round rubber-like gasket that goes over the brass tubing inside the carb. Is this an important gasket or can i do without it? Thanks

    Jet replacement??

    Had my 88 60 hp motor rebuilt. It seems like it starving for a little fuel when you throttle up occassionally. Carbs have been rebuilt and jets are clear.All 3 cylinders were bored out with the number 1 being bored out .040. You think i need to have bigger idle jets??
