have a believe 79 evinrude 115 horse motor runs great hooked to a hose on land but will only run at full throttle in the water won't idle at all.. idles great hooked to a hose could this be a bad water pump problem and if so are they difficult to replace???

Was just wondering what water {top} temp. is best. What is considered to cold for a bass to bite. Always loved bass fishing just recently got back into it and am now in sc compared to ny..just curious what everyone finds to be the best temp.....thanks love the sight :D
