    Good News, OMC 800

    I took my water pump apart, and it had a grease on the splines, and no water. I could not see any more wear.putting the o-ring in there worked.<br />Do a search on #16291 (OMC 800 Update) for more info.<br /><br /> JR.

    Can any one tell me how to keep the grease on the water pump shaft? I've used omc grease and ultra black sealer,60 HRS later the splines are clean,I think it happens the first hour.So in 250 HRS the splines are wore out,then the upper shaft also has to be replaced.     Rollers to Bunks, one ?

    what should the spacing on the center 2x6 bunks be so the boat centers it's self the best? I've seen some new trailers with them about 3" apart is that good or bad. My boat is a 26'starcraft islander.
