I just bought a Mercury 4.5hp outbaord last night. The guy had it laying around his shed and said the guy he bought it off of said it ran, but he never tried to start it. I brought it home and sprayed pullstart with WD40 and sprayed some gas in carb and it fired up on 2nd pull, but I don't know...
