was running great for 1st ten minutes then all at once just dropped to 2800 rpm and had no power,then it surged a couple of times then bogged down again.Now what don't make sense is that i can tilt the motor up and starts to run good for a little bit then drops again.motor idles fine and starts...
i have a 1983 2.5l mercruiser and will not start with key can jump off with screw driver at what i think is called slave solenoid, but i've tried to search for it under this name and can't find it.Please help need to order this part.
was overheating when going down lake but not idleing. pulled head and gasket was bad.the guy checking my head out said i need to check exhaust for leaks does this sound right
