    Need help with Identification

    Hi, I just purchased a 150 XR4 and need help trying to find out the year it was born. The serial # is A138898. This is the one stamped on the mid section clamp. Also the motor is not getting any fire on either side. Where do I start? Thanks Jason

    Can anyone give me the part # for the thermostats in this motor? I also would like to know if the VRO pump on this motor is the same as a 1992 Evinrude 70. Thanks, Jason

    What is the correct spark plug for this motor? I just got the motor from a friend and he installed spark plugs out of a 200 evinrude around the same year. The motor will miss on a load and not get on plane. It is on a 1996 170DC Nitro. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Jason
