    1987 Nissan NS15B2 . . . no spark

    I am only the second owner of this very basic 85# 2-stroke 15HP (carbed with recoil starter) but it recently decided not to fire the plugs. Don't want to just throw parts at it but need testing ideas. Not that it matters but it's a tiller-to- remote conversion.

    Help Identify This Motor . . .

    . . . I'd like to know a ballpark of the year built. It is on a 1977 StarCraft Super Sport 18 OB. What would a guy need to look out for on this era motor? Is it worth anything if I start parting it? Owner doesn't know if it runs or not. By the looks of the lower unit, it has had a rough life? Thanks
